COQ specializes in developing UV imprint resins for manufacturing nano-enabled surfaces and membranes using renewable raw materials. A Spanish company with expertise in additives for polymers, rubbers, cosmetics, lubricants, and polyurethanes, COQ focuses on photocurable prepolymer resins. These resins are based on biodegradable oligomers of lactic acid, curable under UV light. COQ's involvement in the project includes ensuring compatibility with R2R UV-NIL structuring and periodontitis detection assays, scaling up resin production, and implementing quality assurance processes. Their expertise also extends to modifying the mechanical and thermal properties of final substrates like PLA.
